Join the town of Grand Lake for our famous 4th of July Celebration! There are a multitude of activities around town, live music throughout the restaurants, and the day culminates with a dazzling fireworks display over Colorado’s largest natural lake!
How to Prepare for a FUN 4th in Grand Lake:
- Book lodging early, many places are sold out far in advance.
- Fireworks begin after it is fully dark outside, often closer to 10 pm, so bring layers so you can be dressed accordingly.
- It takes an extended amount of time to exit Grand Lake after the fireworks, and many venues offer music and food after the show. Mountain Lakes Properties generously hosts a free party every year.
- If you are watching the fireworks by boat, it can often take a couple hours to get off the lake after the show; plan accordingly with food and drinks.
The Chamber is on limited hours for this holiday and is open from 9 am to 2 pm. There is a kiosk in Town Park on Grand Ave with local information that will be open for the entirety of the day and public restrooms are located in Lake Park and in Town Square Park, as well as Point Park.
